UN-Certified Materials We Use
Every job uses UN-specification packaging that meets IATA packing instruction requirements. No generic boxes - each material is selected by DG class, packing group, and quantity limit.
8 Materials, Every Job
4G Combination Fibre Boxes
UN-specification corrugated outer boxes rated for combination packaging. The standard outer for most Class 3, 6, 8, and 9 shipments where an inner receptacle needs a certified fibreboard shell.
Inner Plastic Bottles (HDPE)
UN-certified HDPE bottles for liquids - resistant to most corrosives and solvents. Sized and rated to match the packing group of the substance, with certified closures.
Inner Glass Bottles
Type I/II borosilicate glass for substances that react with plastic - certain reagents, concentrated acids, and lab chemicals. Always paired with certified cushioning inside the outer box.
UN P650 Triple Packaging
Primary receptacle, secondary packaging, and rigid outer - the required system for Category B biological substances and select diagnostic specimens moving by air.
Lithium Battery Section II Packaging
Strong outer packaging with terminal protection and short-circuit prevention for UN3480/UN3481 lithium-ion batteries shipped under the Section II exceptions.
IATA DGR Labels & Placards
Class 1-9 hazard labels, handling labels, and orientation arrows sized and positioned to current IATA DGR spec - one of the top causes of NOD rejection when done wrong.
Vermiculite & Absorbent Pads
Required cushioning and leak-containment material for liquid dangerous goods - sized to absorb the full inner packaging volume per IATA DGR packing instructions.
UN-Certified Metal Pails (1A1/1A2)
Steel pails with removable or non-removable heads for corrosives and flammable liquids in higher volumes than bottle packaging supports.
Billed at cost for exactly what your shipment needs - boxes, absorbent, labels, and inner packaging.
